We all know how experiences in life force us to grow from who we are into who we will become. For me, the time I’ve spent being a single mother of five has helped me be the person I am today. Shortly after becoming a single parent, I started to rescue animals which were abandoned and abused, anything that needed a home really, I just couldn’t say no. They were all damaged in some way, through their past experiences, as was I, so I gained their trust and worked with them to heal their mental and emotional scars. I enjoyed taking care of them and giving them the love they needed. Looking back, I honestly don’t know how I managed it on top of taking care of my family. This was a very difficult time in my life, especially as single parent. All I do know is that taking care of these poor unfortunate animals filled a sadness in me and over time, I do believe, the animals I rescued healed me. As time went on, I had rescued so many animals that I had no time for anything else. I owned 22 cats and 6 dogs, 3 goats, chickens, rabbits and ducks. I felt it was time to re-home some of these animals, as it was getting increasingly difficult to give them all the individual care they needed. I took my time and carefully chose suitable new homes for them. After successfully re-homing most of them, I was left with 4 wonderful rescued dogs and 3 cats which are all valued members of our family.

For nine years I have had my own business in Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire as a professional dog groomer. I was really happy there but during the last couple of years there, I wanted to do more and became interested in holistic therapies. It all started in January 2018, through my own personal experiences at the time, I was searching for something. This was when I stumbled across Reiki and decided to have a reiki healing, which was wonderful. From this experience, my interest grew in holistic healing methods and led to qualify as aReiki Master Teacher. It proved to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life, truly life enhancing. It opened me up to the world of energy healing, endless possibilities and firmly planted me on my spiritual path.

In May 2018, I felt guided to take a course in animal communication and energy healing. I felt that suddenly my whole life made sense, my love of animals, my ability to instinctively know what they wanted or needed became clear to me, I had actually been communicating with animals all of my life but didn’t realise it. In September 2018 I closed my business in Llandeilo to work from home, where I continued dog grooming while building my spiritual business in holistic therapies, animal communication and energy healing. My life was taking me down a completely different path and I was enjoying it. since then, I have realised that all through my life, I’ve never really been on my own. I have always been guided onto my path to find my life purpose. I am so grateful for this. I have learned so much and I want to share my knowledge in order to help people and their animals live their best lives too.
